If you are using r/3 transactions al08 will show you the users that are on the system. Which modules are you deploying? Fico? James is correction you should work with the business to determine your critical business processes? I have performed quite a bit of SAP testing in the past.

Why you need experience?..
Try with what ever knowledge you have.. Face problems, and then ask your problems. Dont expect there will be some one helping you, (paid/free).. this is not how any professional knowledge gather works. You need to invest time , do some experiments and show to other professionals. If I were you, I would first, do my first test recording then, put the errors of playbacks. (before posting here, google it)

SAP WEB OR SAP GUI SAP Web is similar to normal Web but GUI need knowledge of transaction codes Tcodes and very easy to create performance scripts
